Compliance Office
The Office of the Provost has responsibility for several federal compliance activities at USU. Specific areas of focus within Compliance Assistance include:
- Management of individual and institutional conflicts of interest,
- Institutional compliance with federal invention reporting requirements,
- Administrative support of USU's scientific misconduct policies, and
- Delivery of training for the Responsible Conduct of Research.
The Office of Compliance Assistance supports the institutional mission of USU by ensuring compliance with federal regulations and helping USU's faculty, staff and students to maintain the highest ethical standards. Russ Price, USU's Federal Compliance Manager, administers all activities within Compliance Assistance under the direction of Chris Fawson, the Vice Provost for Academic and International Affairs.
